Christina,
I'm thrilled you chose Colorado Springs to hang your hat.  You bring a wonderful spirit to our community. I came to you by way of a gift  from Michelle; who by the way gave you a stellar recommendation!

The atmosphere and environment you provide to do your  wonderful work made me feel safe and relaxed. The Thai Massage was the best I've ever had. I felt my body in total surrender and was able to accept the healing experience of your touch.

Your philosophy is in line with my Tia Chi work at the Colorado Springs Tia Chi Association. Letting go and getting in touch with who I  am and how my body works has been an enlightening adventure. I'm so glad you are apart of that adventure. I look forward to my next session!

Best and warm regards,
Gail B.

I love how I feel after a session with Christina,  - limber, relaxed and smart.  I can't tell you why I feel smarter, I just do. Maybe she's cleaned out  the junk that gets between my brain cells.  I know that the twisting, pulling, pushing and prodding is different than a traditional massage (which I also do) and I like the ability to deeply relax and feel health benefits at the same time.  The ability to lie on the floor fully clothed is a bonus.  I think I relax more deeply because I have clothes on.

Thanks - Hope to make this a monthly ritual.
Michelle V.

I am a runner, and at the time of my first massage with Christina I was about a month out from a race. I walked in with tight hamstrings, calves, and some sharp knee pain. The bodywork itself was intense, releasing, relaxing, and I haven’t had any pain in my knee since. Christina does a great job of creating an atmosphere that is comfortable and welcoming. It was my first Thai massage and
definitely will not be my last—because of the focus on movement and use of the full body, Thai style felt like it got much deeper into my body than deep tissue massage or neuromuscular therapy. I look forward to seeing Christina again, both for pre and post-race bodywork as well as for simple relaxation purposes!

Thank you for all that you do!
Alex

The fact that I’m 54 years old and a distance runner is a challenging combination. Despite not knowing exactly what to expect as Thai Yoga Bodywork was new to me, I have to say this was the absolute best investment in myself and my structural needs. I had a great experience with Christina. She is not only the consummate professional, she was genuinely interested in understanding my specific needs and customized her routine for maximum benefit. My body was more supple, more energized, and my spirits were lifted for days following my session with Christina. I will definitely return for additional therapy!

All I knew of Thai Bodywork was someone walking on you in bare feet. I've always had lower back pain and try to get massage on a regular basis. I was taking classes at YAMA where I saw the offer to try her Thai Yoga. You lay on your back on a futon mattress on the floor. Christina then moves your body so that you experience a deep stretch in your lower back and hips that you wouldn't be able
to do on your own. You wouldn't think this would do much for you, but the different ways she moves your body makes you aware of ALL of your muscles and you find yourself doing slow, deep breathing so you can relax into the movement. My entire body felt such relief after my 2 hour session. I've also done the 90 minute session after which I felt an elation that stayed with me the rest of the day. The cost of the session seemed a bit high for me, but AFTER the session, I felt like every muscle was loosened up and totally worth every penny. I will definitely return again and again for Thai Bodywork!

Chistina's Thai body work sessions are absolutely incredible. Everyone should experience this at least once in their lifetime. Christina seems to be a master of her craft and totally in tune with the human body. She makes you feel comfortable in an intimate setting and completely at ease. I totally forgot about all of the stresses of life for the 75 minutes I was in her control. I hope she stays in Colorado Springs because this place needs her.

I was gifted the opportunity to experience a Tai Yoga Massage with Christina.  Having no idea what I'd experience I just went with it.  I like the saying that instead of praying when our body is sick, that we begin listening to the prayers ...our body are telling us.  I practice this, but sometimes it feels a bit abstract.  This massage allowed me to discover a lot of parts of my body and listen during the process to any needs it might have.  I came away from the experience knowing the needs of my body at a deeper level.  Christina is wonderfully professional and allows for anything that might show up in the moment.

I highly recommend Christina Wilson as a bodywork specialist. During our first session, Christina was able to assess and release areas of tension in my body that had not experienced full range of motion in years! I also experienced a noticeable reduction in overall stress and a "lightness" in the days following my appointment. Christina possesses a uniquely calming and gentle demeanor as well as being extremely knowledgable in understanding how all systems of the body work and how our environment as well as how we nourish and care for ourselves affects our overall health. She went out of her way to educate me and provide me additional resources and tips to holistically manage my specific condition. I found the environment comfortable and easy to relax in. Christina far exceeded my expectations and I will be visiting her on a regular basis as an essential part of my self-care regimen.

Thank you SO very much – for the world’s most wonderful massage.  I have had many a massage in my lifetime and I have to say – this was truly unique.  Thank you for easing my pain and helping me to - truly relax.  I am still going on and on about how wonderful I felt and how unique the Thai Yoga Bodywork Session was. Thank you again…….I will definitely be back.
Sandy

My experience with our first Tai Yoga session was very impressive! First I'd like to comment on the feeling of being safe, comfortable, and lovingly cared for throughout the session. A misconception I had at the outset was that I would be doing the work. The nice surprise was to be able to just lie there and have you do all the work!! The way you moved my body around reminded me of a body work I am familiar with called OrthoBionomy, which I love because it makes your body feel so loved. Tai Yoga does this as well. The final result was the "limp noodle" feeling of total relaxation. Ahhh! Throughout I could tell that you were in communication with my body, working with it in the way it most needed the work. Lovingly customized for me!  The next day I noticed that the back pain I had been dealing
with was gone. I still had some stiffness, but not the discomfort of the ongoing pain, which was a wonderful miracle. This reminded me of the results of a chiropractic session, and it lasted until just a couple days ago, when I did some work that put me back into pain again. (So over a week I guess.) Time to come back, obviously!!

I so appreciated your recommendation for Kettle Bell exercises to help with my other health issues, and the extra effort you went to in putting together a routine for me, was above and beyond, Christina. You are an amazing Tai Yoga practitioner. I tell all my friends and family about my amazing experience, because I really want you to succeed. In part that is a selfish desire, cuz I want you to stick around so I can continue to use your talents! Thank you so much!!
Sheryl

I tried Thai Bodywork because I had never heard of it and wanted to check it out.  I discovered it was a valuable service and my body was very relaxed and refreshed after I left.  I was suprised, however, that I wasn't sore the next day as I usually am after regular massage.  I would definitely do it again as a treat to myself.  (If I did it on a regular basis, I'd be too relaxed and never get anything done.  I'd be too lazy:)  Thai bodywork is hard to explain, but should be experienced atleast once by all.  I am very happy to recommend it to my friends, clients, and family!

I want to thank you for the incredible work you did with me. I  couldn’t think of a better experience for my first massage. You were  professional, considerate, and above all else.., Damn good at what you do...!  I  actually slept until 9:00 am the morning after the session.. Haven’t slept that late since I was a teenager.. :)

I've done many types of bodywork in the past but had never tried Thai Yoga massage before. I was surprised at how gentle the session was compared to how Thai massage had been described to me in the past. As a dancer, I found the stretches and mobility work on different joints to be especially beneficial.  Christina had a very calming presence and the treatment room was a relaxing environment. I have had an issue in my side for several years now which no one has made much progress with. Christina was able to release the area better than it has ever been and I look forward to seeing what lasting progress she can make in continued sessions!

After just one session I felt like I was standing taller, had better posture and just felt "healthier".  As a mother of two little ones and an attorney that sits at a desk my back has gotten completely out of whack.  Christina listened to what I needed and worked with my body, I was impressed with how comfortable I felt given that there is a lot of twisting and turning but she has a great nature about her and I didn't want the session to end.  She even guided me with some stretches that I can do at home.  I texted my friend after my first session
and told her I'll never do a "regular" massage again.    If you are looking for a way to relax but also improve your body (cleanse, detox, lengthen, strengthen) then I recommend a Thai Bodywork session.  I hope to do regular sessions and last night's session helped jump start a new and healthier me!

I wasn’t sure what to expect prior to my first session - all I can say is that it was AMAZING! During the session, I immediately could tell differences between the left and right sides of my body…which side was relaxed vs. not relaxed. Another noticeable difference is in my left hip, it isn’t as tight as it used to be. I also became aware of a stress point in my left underarm which I did not know was there before, that area was sore for a couple of days after the session and then the pain vanished. Yes, I would definitely do sessions of Thai Yoga
again. It’s a body, energy, and mind meld of complete relaxation! You just feel AMAZING afterwards. With Thai Yoga, you allow the work to be done to you – there is nothing like lying back, breathing and relaxing into a deep state into which your mind/body surrenders – it’s purely AMAZING!
Donna

I've seen Christina several times - mostly for relaxation, but also to help with pain I've accumulated from athletics and sitting in an office during the day. I find that with traditional massage, I feel better but only for a little while.  When I see Christina, the pain leaves and stays gone. The few times I've gotten injured, working with Christina seems to fast-track my body to healing! I love how intuitive her work is - if something hurts, she can always sense it, and she works on getting the muscles feeling safe before working any deeper. I feel positive, healthy and whole from my work with Christina! Her work is a 10 out of 10 and I highly recommend it!
